Founded in 1998, Capitol Consulting is a healthcare consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Our approach to leadership and operations management is the product of years of management consulting, performance improvement, and senior management experience. The combination of this experience provides a complete perspective of the healthcare industry: A belief that hospital operations need to improve by utilizing the existing strengths within the organization combined with management development, timely management information, and management expectations.

The approach of Capitol Consulting is very straightforward. Instead of submitting written recommendations to leadership and projecting improvement opportunities, we create an environment of fiscal accountability and continuous improvement by implementing a cost based bi-weekly productivity report. At that point, we work closely with front line managers to create productivity standards and help them to maintain and improve on these standards throughout the fiscal year. From our Boot Camp for Managers to our on-going one-on-one and group coaching sessions, managers are exposed to proven department specific management techniques they can immediately apply to their operations with confidence.
